Hi, I’m Kevin (Singh) AKA Kevin Counselling

This Start Here section is designed to give you everything you need to know, so you can decide with clarity and confidence, if I’m the right therapist for you.
If you’re here to improve your Sex Life & Romantic Relationships, you’re in the right place.
My mission is to help in these two key areas of life. I am building a world where people have certainty, pleasure, and healthy relationships with themselves, others, and sex itself.
Confusion, shame, dysfunction, and miscommunication are no longer barriers and pleasure is plentiful.
I’m passionate about this because I’ve faced soo many of these challenges myself.
Thanks to customized therapy and education, I’ve been able to overcome various sexual dysfunctions, unhelpful emotions, and difficult relationship dynamics.
Now, there’s a lot more joy and a lot less stress.
I’ve supported clients from all walks of life to overcome these concerns, with clarity and confidence. Many have even invited me to weddings, baby showers, and anniversary parties. Though I can’t attend due to confidentiality, it’s always an honour to celebrate their success. I promise to support you just as I did them.
Many clients have left their own therapists to work with me. This was not something I ever expected to happen.

Dana Kaake, Registered Psychotherapist
Kevin is empathetic and exudes a certain optimism that is encouraging. He’s open, easy-going, grounded – the kind of guy that you can feel comfortable talking about sex and relationships with.
Corey Turnbull, Registered Psychotherapist, MSc, OAMHP, CHT
I have been privileged to benefit from Kevin’s wisdom and knowledge, as I’ve sought his input on some of my more challenging cases. He’s particularly adept at issues around sexuality and relationships. Kevin listens empathetically and validates your experience; at the same time, he provides practical exercises and suggestions to speed up progress. I would highly recommend Kevin to anyone seeking support for sex and relationship challenges.
Laval Martin, MSW, RSW, Registered Psychotherapist
Continued Competence
I have had the pleasure of collaborating with organizations such as the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), Sex Matters (CP24), Provider Files, Healthing.ca, and more.

I also co-run a Therapy Group where I support licensed helping professionals with tools and strategies so that they can help more people.
Staying current with evidence-based research is a priority for me. My license requires that I’m always learning, whether through engaging with thought leaders like Huberman Labs, Dr. Drew, Brene Brown, and Esther Perel, or through regular courses, supervision, and personal coaching.
Recently, I was honoured to contribute to a documentary about Self Respect & Love.
Thank you so much for being part of the creation of this film. Your voice and perspective was eye opening for me and added much depth to the conversation.
-Amen Jafri, Documentary Director
Education & Facilitation
In graduate school, I was the representative of my Master’s program and advocated for the mental health of fellow students. Now, I am a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist, and Member of the Ontario Association of Social Work (OASW), Ontario College of Social Workers (OCSWSSW) and Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW). Later on, I’ll explain why I purposefully chose social work to help people.
Beyond therapy, I am passionate about psychoeducation with an emphasis on Practicality. In training then partnership with the prestigious Crisis and Trauma Resource Institute (CTRI) and Centre for Leadership & Workplace Performance (ACHIEVE), I have travelled across Canada facilitating mental health workshops where I teach social workers, counsellors, therapists, and other helping professionals.
Some of the relevant workshops I facilitate (in person) include:
- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT): Tools for Thinking Differently
- Counselling: The Essential Skills
- Motivational interviewing: Strategies for Supporting Change
- Mental Health Awareness and Support
- Concurrent Disorders and Addiction
- Ethics of Helping
- Wellness Strategies: Stress, Compassion, Fatigue, and ResilienceAs you can see, these topics are directly connected to Sex & Relationship Therapy.
In my personal life, I love to hang out with my friends. These are fun people from a variety of different social circles, lifestyles, and backgrounds. Together we like to discover Toronto restaurants, maybe play chess, definitely crack up at stand-up comedy, and over analyze movies. Like, really over analyze movies.
Quality Assurance
Unlike ‘life coaches’, licensed helping professional providing psychotherapy must be supervised. This is necessary everyone, even if they have been counselling for 30 years. This means accountability to be ethical, unbiased, and not project personal dynamics or victories to clients. E.g. A sex therapist thinking that a specific formula solved their cuple problem and so they give you the same, even if your situation is completely different. This is something I would never do; solutions are built around your sexual blueprint, values, and goals.
Back when I was getting started, I fulfilled an intense 3 year apprenticeship the well-known and respected sex therapist, Rob Peach (retired). Mr. Peach is a Registered Social Worker (OCSWSSW), Clinical Member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA), Associate Member for the Board of Examiners in Sex Therapy and Counselling of Ontario (BESTCO), and a Professional Member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counsellors and Therapists (AASECT).
Rob and I presented a psycho-education workshop to BESTCO that was appreciated and praised.
Now, my practice is supervised by Laval Martin (MSW, RSW). With extensive training and experience in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), I purposely reached out to Laval because his skill set of Emotional Regulation fills out my approach well. DBT improves relationships and sex by focusing on acceptance, change, presence, and accepting ALL emotions.
